Kentucky Attorney General Visits Lifehouse Maternity Home
Lifehouse Maternity was pleased to welcome Kentucky Attorney General, Russell Coleman for a tour of Lifehouse. The Attorney General and Rewa Zakharia, the Criminal Chief and a member of the Executive Staff learned about how Lifehouse is serving pregnant and parenting women and children in crisis. The Attorney General is passionate about addressing the problem of domestic violence, and the staff of Lifehouse were able to share stories of women who found safety and help through Lifehouse and how our program is changing lives. In 2024, 60 percent of the women served by Lifehouse had experienced domestic violence and 50% had been trafficked.
The Attorney General was very impressed with all the Lifehouse Maternity Home is doing to make a difference in the lives of women and children seeking security, safety and a new start. He commended the staff on their work and encouraged Lifehouse to reach out to his office if we need assistance. Lifehouse is grateful for the time the Attorney General spent with us, and the work he and his staff are doing to make a difference in Kentucky.
This past quarter, Lifehouse Maternity Home was pleased to receive a generous donation from Evapar. Evapar is one of the leading providers of industrial and commercial generators. Lifehouse gave them a tour of the maternity house and shared about our program and the impact their gift will have for our women and children. Lifehouse is grateful for Evapar’s support!
