The people behind Lifehouse
Dolli Neikirk
Chief Executive Officer
Dolli Neikirk joined the Lifehouse team in March 2019. Dolli lived in the Evansville, Indiana area most of her life where she worked in sales, marketing, fundraising and development and management for both nonprofit and for profit organizations. Dolli has always had a passion for women, children and the pro-life movement. Serving at Lifehouse has allowed her to bring her business experience to a place where afternoon baby rocking breaks and celebrating women’s successes are a part of the job. She serves on the Advisory Council for the International Maternity Housing Coalition, as a member of the Leadership Louisville Encore Class of 2026, and a mentor with Students for Life.
Dolli and her husband, Chris, moved to New Albany, Indiana in 2018, where he serves as Senior Pastor for Trinity Church. They have five daughters, two Chihuahuas, and an ever growing number of grandchildren. Dolli uses her life verse, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” Joshua 24:15 to influence every aspect of her daily life as a wife, mother, and employee.
Lyssa Castor
Chief Development Officer
Lyssa Castor serves the Lifehouse team as Chief Development Officer, bringing more than a decade of nonprofit experience in the areas of development, marketing, and communications. With a passion for Lifehouse’s mission, Lyssa is dedicated to spreading awareness of the essential resources we offer to pregnant and parenting young women in the Louisville community, while securing the funding needed to sustain these efforts. She is thrilled to be a part of the Lifehouse family and ministry.
Lyssa lives in Oldham County with her husband Matt. They have three grown daughters and are enjoying their recent empty nester life. In her spare time Lyssa enjoys coaching volleyball, hiking, and traveling. Her favorite bible verse is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Shannon Cole
Program and Operations Director
Shannon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University. Before joining Lifehouse, she worked in the fields of social services and education, where she supported children and families through challenging seasons and taught in both structured and nurturing environments.
She is committed to helping program participants succeed during their time at Lifehouse and beyond. Viewing her work as a ministry, Shannon considers it a privilege to serve women and children with Christ’s love, offering encouragement, support, and hope through faith.
Shannon and her husband, Billy, have five grown children. Her favorite Bible verse is:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Tanisha Sparks
BrightLife Ministry Director
Tanisha joined the Lifehouse team as the BrightLife Ministry Director in July 2026. Originally from Michigan, she brings with her a heart for serving children and families, along with nearly nine years of experience in education, child development, and behavioral support.
Throughout her career, Tanisha has served as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), RBT Trainer, and Operations Manager in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has also worked as an Instructional Assistant in Exceptional Children Education (ECE) and as a Family Advocate with Head Start, where she earned her Family Development Credential (FDC). Each of these experiences has deepened her passion for helping children grow and supporting families with compassion and care.
Tanisha and her husband of five years attend HOPE Ministries with their young daughter. She feels blessed to be part of the Lifehouse family and is excited to serve through the BrightLife program. Her desire is to create a loving, Christ-centered environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged as they learn and grow. She is grateful for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with the families she serves each day.
Cyndy Stevenson
House Mentor & House Manager
Cyndy Stevenson was a stay at home mom for 30 years when she became a House Mentor in November of 2016. She has served as House Manager since September of 2021. As House Mentor she helps Lifehouse participants stay focused on their daily routines and gives encouragement to succeed in their goals as they work the Lifehouse program. As House Manager Cyndy has additional responsibilities of organizing material goods, managing supplies and donations, and training new House Mentors. Cyndy and her husband Larry raised their six children in the South end of Louisville. They now live on a farm in Lanesville, Indiana where they take every opportunity to spoil their 13 grandchildren. The Bible verse Cyndy keeps in mind as she mentors and manages is 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth.
Anita Kuhn
Office Manager/Bookkeeper
After seeing an ad in the Catholic Record for an Office Manager/Bookkeeper, Anita knew her studies in Accounting at Bellarmine University and her years of experience in office administration and bookkeeping would make her a great fit for Lifehouse.
Having retired in August 2022, Anita wasn’t sure she wanted to return to the workforce, but couldn’t stop thinking about Lifehouse. After much prayer, and reflecting on the fact that she was once a young, teenage mother, Anita felt that God was calling her to Lifehouse where she would hopefully be able to help women who weren’t as fortunate as she was, thanks to the loving support of family and friends.
Anita and her husband, Ron, are blessed to have three sons, daughters-in-law, two grandsons, and a granddaughter. When Anita is not snuggling with Tucker and Lilly, Goldendoodles who demand lots of attention, she enjoys playing golf and pickleball.
Anita loves how Romans 12:2 applies to the Lifehouse program, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Alison Bettis
Family Care Coordinator
Alison Bettis serves Lifehouse as the Family Care Coordinator, bringing years of dedication, compassion, and experience to the women and children Lifehouse serves. Alison is no stranger to the Lifehouse community, having previously served as a House Mentor for many years, where she had the privilege of walking alongside women and families during important seasons of their lives.
Alison’s passion for serving women comes from her own testimony. Her life did not begin the way she hoped, but through God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness, He transformed her story and gave her a renewed purpose. Because of what God has done in her own life, Alison is passionate about sharing His hope, love, grace, and mercy with women who may need encouragement, support, and someone to walk beside them.
Alison and her husband, Dennis, serve their local church in many ways and are raising four teenage children. They cherish their time together as a family, knowing that every moment is a gift from God. They strive to make the most of each day, creating memories and celebrating the blessings God has given them.
Alison’s heart and soul are for women and children. Through her role at Lifehouse, she desires to remind every woman that their story matters, there is hope for the future, and God’s grace can bring restoration and new beginnings. Her favorite Bible verse is, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
House Mentors:
The house mentors at Lifehouse are Christian ladies who have a heart for nurturing, encouraging, mentoring, organizing, teaching, praying and loving on babies and moms. Mentors stay at Lifehouse for a 24-hour shift serving as a maternal figures for our program participants of all ages. Mentors listen and help solve problems, lead “family-style” discussions, and pray with our program participants. As outlined in Deuteronomy 6: 5-7, Lifehouse house mentors lead by example: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
