Lifepath Program
Education, Independence, and Healthy Lives

The Lifehouse Lifepath is a three-part program designed to walk residents through pregnancy, childbirth, infancy, toddlerhood, life skills, and healthy relationships while transitioning to greater independence and self-support.
Step One
#NewLife: Caring for self, baby, home, and heart
Every journey at Lifehouse begins at #NewLife. This is a special time when you’ll be supported and encouraged as you learn to care for the precious new life growing inside of you — and to begin your own new chapter, too. Here, you’ll have help letting go of old habits that no longer serve you and discovering new, healthy ways to care for yourself and your baby.
Along with daily routines that help bring stability and hope, you’ll also have the chance to grow through 19 or more lessons on:
-
- pregnancy care
- childbirth
- caring for your baby
- looking after your home
- and loving yourself.
Every step of the way, you won’t be alone — you’ll have caring people by your side to help you build a brighter future for you and your baby.
Step Two
#MomLife: balancing home, work, and soul
In step two of your journey, you’ll build skills to help you care for your child, yourself, your home, your work, and your faith.
Our past has a way of trying to tell us we aren’t worthy or we can’t do something. This is your time to rediscover who you are to discover your talents and to set your own future.
After your baby arrives, you’ll have time to rest and bond during your maternity leave. When you’re ready, you’ll ease back into learning how to balance caring for your little one, managing your home, working, and handling all the ups and downs that come with being a mom.
This time may feel full and sometimes challenging, but it’s also rewarding — because each step brings you closer to moving into your own Lifehouse apartment and feeling more prepared and confident for life after Lifehouse. And through it all, we’re here to support you.
Step Three
#LifeGoals: Finding the Best Life for You and Your Child
This final step in the Lifepath program is the longest, because building a strong future takes time — and you deserve that time. Here, you’ll move into one of our transition apartments. You’ll continue to grow and learn how to care for your child’s development, manage your money, build healthy relationships, and explore jobs or career paths that help you thrive.
You’ll have up to four years to follow the dreams you have for yourself — maybe that’s going to college, learning a trade, or finding steady, meaningful work. We’ll be here to support you and cheer you on as you take each step forward.
When you look back, you’ll see just how far you’ve come — and you’ll know you’ve created a strong, loving path for both you and your child.
Life will have its challenges, but even after you graduate the Lifepath program, we are still here for you. At any time you can call upon us for support. Our mission is to help you become the successful woman you are intended to be.
Special Lifepath Programs
#DadLife:
The path to becoming a great father and co-parent
We believe that every child deserves the love and support of both parents whenever possible. That’s why we offer special lessons for fathers who plan to be involved in co-parenting their child.
During your pregnancy, dads will be given lessons to help them get ready for visits and learn how to co-parent in a healthy, positive way. After your baby is born, dads will receive additional lessons before each visit to help them stay connected and grow as parents. These lessons are sent by text or email, making it easy for them to keep learning.
#BirthMom
Love for the selfless choice of adoption
At Lifehouse, you’ll have special lessons to help you understand pregnancy and childbirth, along with support for learning important life skills like budgeting, finding a good job, and building healthy relationships.
Lifehouse can be your safe and caring place to stay for up to four years while you work toward your dreams — whether that’s earning a college degree, learning a trade, or finding steady work that supports you and your child. Through it all, you’ll be surrounded by people who believe in you and will walk beside you with unconditional love and support.
